Village Idiot Comedy brings the full comedy club experience to your doorstep. That means no long train or car journey. No worrying about parking. No returning home in the wee small hours. Just first class stand-up comedy delivered to within minutes of where you live.  

At Village Idiot Comedy we know that the only thing that matters in comedy is quality. We love comedians who are not only funny but distinctive, original and unforgettable. That is why we only hire comics we are fans of ourselves. After attending more than 2000 comedy nights and seeing in the region of 5000 comics on the UK circuit we have a list of about 30 comics that we love. If you are attending a Village Idiot Comedy event you will only see comics that are on our golden list. 

The other thing that is important to us is that our comedy shows are professionally presented. That means good lighting, good sound and tightly run shows that start and end on time. That makes it easier for you to plan your evening and it makes for more fun and laughter too. 

Village Idiot Comedy shows will usually include The Village Idiot Bar where we endeavour to serve local beers and ciders as well as carefully selected wines and boutique spirits - and a few snacks. This does not mean a trip to the Cash and Carry and stacking up the cheapest booze on offer. We like to serve excellent quality and where possible locally sourced produce.
